Using the cycle of the flower as a metaphor\, we give birth to a new self by examining who we are through each of the 5Rhythms: Flowing Staccato Chaos Lyrical and Stillness.\nWe will practice letting go of the past and embracing the truth that everything and everyone is impermanent. All moments\, all ideas—positive or negative—fade away. Do you hold on tightly or have you learned to dance through the theatre of life? We will dance\, explore our own mortality\, fall in love with the miracle of life\, and reinvent ourselves throughout this workshop. This 5Rhythms workshop theme was inspired by the Japanese Butoh tradition.

SUMMARY:Awakening Through Leadership: Body\, Feeling\, Mind\, Intuition
DESCRIPTION:The summer of 2011 at Clear Sky Meditation & Study Center will focus on developing the skills required for teaching. \nMany systems have been developed for self-knowledge and awareness. The Jungian functions\, Enneagram\, Astrology\, CAPS (Controllers\, Analysts\, Promoters and Supporters) and Myers-Briggs are just a few. The purpose of these systems is to bring one out of one’s tribal conditioning to individuate and integrate all the different facets of an awakened life. \nThe summer program will draw upon these methods and communication skills development to complement our meditation practice. We’ll explore the development of latent or absent skills\, and strengthen those already present through various Clear Sky projects and activities that enrich the teacher training program\, for instance\, construction of the Teachers’/Caretakers’ residence\, ecological studies and exploration of nutriment through sustainable agriculture\, from the soil to the table. Together we’ll explore the nature of community and development of social and interpersonal intelligence\, as reflected in being a part of a functioning meditation and study center.
