Who are the teachers?

We are thrilled to have Leslie Lowe and Peter Davidson return to offer their second replicable grasslands workshop at Clear Sky. Together we will look at the relationships between urban, agricultural development and the surrounding ecosystem.

Our goal is to heighten awareness, educate and engage dialogue about sustainable land use management in the Rocky Mountain Trench.

Leslie Lowe, founder of “Beargrass Landscape Design and Environmental Planning” is a Registered Landscape Architect in Montana, with a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning. She divides her time between her home and husband in Marysville B.C. and her second house in Whitefish, Montana.  Leslie is gifted at sharing her passion for wildlife and native plants with large groups. She leads us with dynamic presentations and great clarity.

Peter Davidson, wildlife biologist and agrologist, has explored the trench extensively, and now serves our region as the President of the Rocky Mountain Trench Society and the Rocky Mountain Naturalists. Peter's repertoire is vast and he brings to our mix profound insights into and decades of experience working with and for our beloved Trench. Peter is a respected naturalist and avid birder adept at highlighting the pride of our region's unique biodiversity with all who are interested.
